Based on our novel proprietary isothermal amplification and real-time detection method, we provide ready-to-use biochemical reagents for the detection of specific microbes. Our rapid test allows for direct sample analysis, bypassing DNA/RNA extraction. The targeted gene segments are amplified isothermally and detected in real-time using a dsDNA-intercalating dye. An in-well internal control indicates the correct performance of each amplification reaction. To determine assay specificity, a melting curve analysis is performed. This procedure can be conducted on any real-time PCR cycler. Due to its rapidity and robustness, our method perfectly meets the requirements for an on-site diagnosis of infectious diseases.
